Resident Procedure Videos Revisited

As the new academic year starts, everyone looks to improve upon their procedural skills. Whether it’s new interns doing a procedure for the first time or a senior resident perfecting their technique and teaching their younger comrades, procedural skill is of the utmost importance to our field. It’s easy to become overwhelmed with the vast amount of resources out there so we’ve put together a list of some of the most high-yield procedural videos out there for 10 common ER procedures. One to two videos were selected for a core EM procedure that highlight the most important aspects, preparation and techniques. They are meant as a guide and starting point, especially for those who would like focused pearls.
